Art Education Programs
ART We Talented
(18 month - 5 years)
Art workshops for young children which encourages artistic freedom and cognitive thoughts through hands on activities. Students in this program will be learning things such as colors, ABC's, 123's, shapes, patterns, spacial recognition, and all through the arts (Visual: 2D and 3D, Dance, Music, Theatre). These workshops occur the 2nd Thursday of every month from 10-11 and cost $5 per child per class. This fee includes all materials as well as instructors fees.
Arts4Kids
(6 - 12)
An introductory art workshop series designed to introduce children to a variety of arts (music, performance, dance and visual) and encourage their lifelong pursuit of creative endeavors. Students in this program will begin to learn specific art forms, artist and artistic movements. Elements of English, Math, Science and History are included in these workshops as well. These workshops occur the 4th Saturday of every month from 1-3 and cost $10 per student per class. This fee includes all materials as well as instructors fees.
K.E.Y.P.A.D.
(13 - 18)
(KingsportARTS Empowering Youth by Participation in Arts Discovery)
This program consists of advanced art workshops designed to further expand youths knowledge in various art forms and apply them to real world situations. These classes are taught by local college professors in the arts as well as local professional artists. These workshops occur the 4th Saturday of every month from 12-4 and cost $20 per student per class. This fee includes all materials as well as instructors fees.

Kids Crawl, July 30, 10AM-2PM
On Saturday, July 30, KingsportARTS will host the first annual Kids Crawl from 10-2 at Memorial Park in Kingsport. Kids of all ages can bring their parents for free and visit a variety of tables set up by area organizations, each featuring an art or craft.
At the KingsportARTS table, parents may sign their kids up for workshops throughout the coming school year as well as pick up information on the K.E.Y.P.A.D Project and Art We Talented.
