“A Passport to the Arts in Kingsport”-First Annual Arts Council Arts Crawl 2009

On September 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., visitors to the downtown Kingsport business district will be able to take a trip through the arts by picking up an Arts Crawl Passport under the State Theater Marquee on Broad Street. The passport will include a list of, and directions to, the participating galleries. People who visit every participating gallery and have the passport stamped will be entered into a drawing. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate that will be good at any of the galleries in the Arts Crawl.

Passport holders will sample a delightful array of hors d'œuvres created by downtown restaurants while sipping on wine from a souvenir glass. Participating galleries and locations include Cindy Saadeh Fine Art Studio and Ripper Arts Studio and Gallery, The Gallery of Local Artists, Downtown Kingsport Association Gallery, Suzanne Barrett Justis Fine Arts Studio & Gallery, Up Against the Wall and The Banq. Participating restaurants include Stir Fry Cafe, Bone Fire Smokehouse, Cafe' N'Orleans, Divine Cafe & Catering, Kaffé Blue, Kingsport Grocery Company and Rose Cottage Bakery.

A golf-cart shuttle will be available, courtesy of Able Printing, for those who need assistance. Tickets for this event are $30.00 per person and can be purchased in advance online at www.KingsportARTS.org.
