Arts4Kids Holds Kids Crawl Event
Kids Crawl, July 31, 1-3PM
On Saturday, July 31, KingsportARTS will host the first annual Kids Crawl from 1-3 at Memorial Park in Kingsport. Kids can bring their parents for free and visit a multitude of tables set up by area organizations, each featuring an art or craft. Some organizations include Kingsport Fire Department, Kingsport Police Department, Arts4Kids and Premier Athletics. Chick-Fil-A will be there with the cow and Texas Roadhouse is bringing Andy the Armadillo. Hey Photo Guy! will be present to take pictures as well which will be made available online.
The Kids Crawl is in conjunction with the Arts Crawl in September and will be used as a fundraiser for the Arts4Kids program as well as the K.E.Y.P.A.D. Project. A Kids Art Korner will be set up at which the kids will pool their creative talent to create several paintings on canvas, which will then be sold at silent auction the night of the Arts Crawl. At the Arts4Kids table, parents may sign their kids up for workshops throughout the coming school year as well as pick up information on the K.E.Y.P.A.D Project. Arts4Kids and JACK t-shirts will be available for purchase for $3 each.
The first 100 kids to sign in at the Arts4Kids table will receive a FREE canvas backpack featuring the Arts4Kids logo.
Any organization wishing to participate should contact Tina Radtke, KingsportARTS Program Director, at (423) 392-8420.
