About This Artist Barbara Carter
I've been privileged to have created art for over 25 year. I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and attended Memphis State University and the Memphis College of Art. After marrying, I moved several times finally settling in Kingsport, Tennessee. I've studied art under Professor Emeritus George Chavatel and Professor Emeritus Glenn Bradshaw.

I was featured in Watercolor Magic Magazine, 2003, "Ones to Watch".
My work has been included in the permanent collections of the University of Virginia at Wise, VA. and the LaGrange Museum of Art, LaGrange, GA.
