About This Artist
Becky Arrnot comes from a family of artists in the Appalachian Mountains of south west Virginia. Her grandmother, Mema, was referred to by family members as Grandma Moses, as she started painting late in life. Becky's mother, father, and brother are artists as well. Becky taught art for several years in the public school system. She has also taught a series of children’s art classes. Some of her prints and coal art are for sale at the famous June Tolliver House in Big Stone Gap and a couple of other various shops in Virginia. Becky has an art studio in her home in Kingsport, TN where she lives with her husband Greg, who is also artistic.
