About This Artist
I have been a potter for over 25 years and have occupied a studio and gallery, in the heart of historic downtown Rogersville Tennessee, for the last 20 years.I specialize in dinnerware and utilitarian forms and I like to refer to my work as "Kitchen Art", beautiful items you can touch daily. At present, I enjoy working on one-of-a-kind pieces. My pottery is high fired stoneware and is ovenproof, dishwasher safe and can be used in the microwave. All glazes are lead free and food safe.Beal Pottery is listed on the Tennessee Heritage Trail and my studio is open to the public. I teach both Adult and Children's pottery classes and I am available to demonstrate for schools, scouts, churches and civic groups.Shop hours are 11am-5:00pm Tuesday through Friday and 11am-3pm on Saturday. Open anytime by appointment.
